Ay mali....DH nga pala...wihehehe...Clipless pa rin...roll-in, roll-in lang naman ako. lol! Honestly, I haven't used platform for so many years na..sa DH i guess platform siguro talaga ang ideal dahil lahat ng nagda Down Hill naka platform...

Sa pics ni Bonggie Buenaseda ng South Cycle nakikita ko parang naka-clipless parin yata siya. I haven't asked him about this, though... pag maalala ko I'll ask him.

sa akin nasanay ako clipless. start ako bike XC tapos AM naka clipless na. kapag platform gamit ko nahirapan ako ilagay paa ko sa gitna ng pedal.

clipless ganda sa rockies at sa gigantic jump na 3 ft na tinitira ko affraid sigurado ako na hindi kakalas paa ko. kaya lang hirap ilabas ang paa kapag panic mode ka na hehehe. sanayan lang siguro.

Siguro pag nag uumpisang DH rider maganda na Platform muna first few rides...Habang naninibago pa yung rider sa DH riding (terrain, body positioning, speed, etc..)...

clipless user po. XC to AM to roadbike, hehehe.

masarap magclipless kasi you feel 'one' with the bike. as in pati pag semplang, hehehe. pero natututunan naman yung pag unclip eh during emergency situations. besides, kakalas naman syang kusa pag sumemplang ka eh.

is it true that clipless pedals are not allowed sa DH if you race professionally or UCI sanctioned races?

ang alam ko recently binawal na yung skin suits pero clipless hindi pa yata.

News just in from our man in the know Si Paton who has just returned from the Annual UCI MTB Gravity Board Meeting in Switzerland. Following on from the recent UCI ban of Skinsuits and going bullet, SPD pedals will also be banned in 2010.

kailangan lng talaga may dedication tayo s pedal.. dahil nandoon ung paa ntin.. walang mapapatungan ang paa pagwalang pedal.. nandyan ang control s balanse.. switching.. back pedal.. etc..

clips @ flats.. minsan mind joggling bounce .. its a trial & error procedure s DH scene.. pero kaw p rin magdecide..


pro-FLATS ako s DH.. ang daming nasagot s mga katangunan ko s tagal ko ng pagkakarera s DH.. may malaking improvements p lalo s akin.. ang pagpedal cheers

I'm old school sa DH mtb so I'm born with clippless pedals.....pero nung nasubukan ko ang 510s with pedals such as 5050s , Cullys, eastons etc.

it's a revelation! lalo na pag mahilig ka sa corners! Saka pag di ka naman racing at tulak-to-death ka sa DH bike mo sa mga batuhan , FLATS! Twisted Evil

And I'm talking about 510 shoes ha.....Hirap i-pang hike stiff soles ng mga clippless eh saka nakakaawa sya lalo na kung mega-bucks SIDIs!

CLIPLESS all the way! no problem pagdating sa rocky sections unlike sa platform tumatalon-talon ang paa mo. especially pag race iba ang pressure kaya may tendency na mawala sa pwesto ang paa sa pedals. PLATFORM mas efficient pag wet and muddy conditions para madali mag dub sa turns na sobrang dulas.

new here... DH nga ba? used to platform pedals kc i was playing DJ street bike - now into downhill practicing and getting use to clipless... when it comes to bump clipless, kc yung paa mo steady sa pedals not like platform pedals, ma-papasipa ka pagbagsak.
