This bike looks cool for DH..might be very expensive though..



heard this bike didn't went into mass production..

ganyan ata yung ninenok na bike ni greg minnaar when he was still riding for the honda g-cross team... eh binitiwan na ng honda ang mtb team nila... so kaput na rin ang honda bikes..
but the thing with honda bike (i think) was only made for their team kaya no way magkaroon ang privateer ng honda bikes... pwera na lang yung ninakaw...

Parang transformers

yan yata yung DH bike gamit nila Greg Minaar, Brian Fairclough at Mati Lehiekonen nung nsa honda team pa sila...2007 nabuwag yung Honda team...But now their riding for Syndicate, Evil bikes at Spez...

nasan na kaya yang mga bikes nayan...marami-rami rin sigurong nagawa na ganyan...yung japanese team alam ko gumamit din nyan dito dun sa race sa mindoro (?) years ago.

mayabang ang japs.. ayaw nilang e mass prod.. dahil sila lng nakagawa ng maayos n gear box.. tested & proven s dh ckt.. sabi nila taon p bibilangin bago nila e mass prod ang rn01..

tsaka hindi pwedeng chop-chopin kundi whole bike ang bentahan nyan.. syempre HONDA yan eh!

ang gear box nila.. napaka-effecient.. napakapag shift yan kahit s aire ka.. tsaka continuous running p rin yong gearing kahit no pedal u.. kaya ganyan k yabang ang japs rn01.. u pansin run ni GM gamit yong rn01.. u bilang d padyak s tight turn.. precise @ synchronize.. no time hard!


maraming gumaya pero sablay lahat!


nasa mtbcut.tv kung gusto makita ano meron ang gear box nila.. very simple design..

nakita ko yung unang labas nito, red pa nga yata yung kulay. yep race proven. it's not just a "hang on the wall" bike.

meron kaya sa JDM ng banawe yan??

hinda japs yung mayabang.. ang honda habol lang talaga eh prestige, tulad ng vtec nila. tested and efficient. aminado ang toyota people na hindi nila kakayanin ang vtec machine ng honda kung stock to stock lang lalo na kung modified in the same level. unfortunately apektado honda sa recession. kahit sa F1 pull out na yung BAR honda.

yung parts ng RN01 pang motor na rin, showa forks and shocks.. yung brake ba brembo?

even if Honda is going to put RNO1 into production, only a few can afford it.

that rig(R&D) was estimated 75k USD according to MBA.

hmm..thats maybe because of R&D, tooling etc...we all know that cost per unit will go down corresponding to the number of items produced..pero 3 grade ko sa cost accounting ehehehe! baka mali

siguro baba yan 30k..bili na! LOL!

actually ang issue s rn01 yong gear box.. hindi nila mabigyan ng presyo.. pero kung frameset lng same same s ibang branded..

konti p kasi ang demand.. pero mura n ngayon ang carbon pagawa lng nila s intsik

alam ko motorcycle related ang R&D nila that's why they built the RNO1. When they got what they wanted , they "ditch the bitch!"

so yung session 88 ni evs, pwede salpakan ng gearbox? compliant n kaya ang latest 09 n 88 sa gearbox?
